The Training Course, held from 9 to 12 June at the Cittadella degli Artisti in Molfetta and organised by the Lead Partner InCo Molfetta, represented an important opportunity for learning, exchange and collaboration among the partners of the Poetry4Participation project.
The training focused on the exchange of good practices on the use of poetry as a tool for participation, active citizenship and community engagement. Through workshops, interactive games, non-formal learning activities and creative sessions, participants shared innovative methodologies that placed poetry at the centre not only as a form of artistic expression, but also as a powerful means of promoting dialogue, civic participation and social activism.
Throughout the four-day programme, participants explored and tested different educational approaches, creating both individual and collective poems while reflecting on the potential of poetry to communicate messages of inclusion, democratic participation and active citizenship.
The methodologies collected and developed during the Training Course were later brought together in a practical booklet, translated into all the languages of the project partners, with the aim of making these educational tools accessible to youth workers, educators, organisations and local communities across the partner countries.
